Hi all,
I promised it and here they are, clean good pics of my sculpturing work on the Malagor Miniature. You can see that I finished the belly plate with the beastmen skull and set the armature for the stole he wears around his neck. You can see that I always do rough armatures before I sculpture the details, here on the wings, the horns and also the stole. It makes the sculpturing process easier and you have something to work on. It´s better to work in more steps than try to finish such a detail in one step. When creating an armature be always sure make it thin nough that you can later add some putty but make it thick enough that isn´t to flexible, especially when it stands out of the miniature. I advide also to use a wire constructer where it is possible. Here I used on on the horns. Then I add some Brownstuff for fixing the construction, add some thickness and add a surface where the putty for the second putty layer get some grip. If there are further questions, feel free to ask them, I will try to answere all. Kind Regards GeOrc

Hi, this evening I had a spontanous hobby meeting togehter with Marcel. I did further sculpturing on the Malagor conversion. There was a lot of rough armature sculpturing on the horns and on the loincloth. Also I sculptured the belly plate and and repositioned the right leg. Again sorry for the bad pics. My sister has still my Digi Cam, but I hope I will get it back this week.

I had a small sculpturing session today. I resculpt the body of Malagor and started to think about how to base the miniature. I decieded to create a burned roof as base which should fit to the idea of OSL fire effect in his left hand. I plan that the smoke from the roof will turn into his loincloth to fix the miniature in a flying position. The miniature is a lot of fun and I hope to get more progress tomarrow. Like always critic and feedback are very welcome.

Hi all,
like every second and fourth thursday in the month, we had our painting session in our local GW store. This month we decieded to paint the new Beastmen charakter Malagor. It´s in everyones own decision if you will paint the original, if you will convert it or in my case, I will sculpt a new one. Proudly I can present you the first project of this new year, of this new site and my return to the unwashed beasts. I hope you like it. Sorry that the pics which weren´t that good. I had only the chance to make some quick shots with my mobilephone, but I think you get a first impression and I hope it will be enough for you to come back regulary to see the progress. Then with better pics :)

Hi all out there,
a lot of ppl have mentioned my longer silence in the hobby and I will thank all, who send their calls to get me back on my workbench. Live has become more and more stressful and meanwhile I had very less time to care for all ppl and boards out there, where I offered my service for help and advice. That´s why I tried something new and created this blog to concentrate my knowledge and my help on a single spot. It will be also a place where everyone who is interessted in can follow the progress of my projects... and yes there are some and you will get the first pics soon. In the next weeks I will take time to create it more personal with a new layout and some first content. I hope you will enjoy this place.
Kind Regards
